If your issues are getting in your way of your quality of life, your happiness or your ability to rest, perform or enjoy life, then it matters and is well worth resolving. You can recapture joy.
HELLO, I'M VICKI
I am an integratively trained counsellor, who utilises cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), client-centred therapy and psychodynamic counselling in my practice.
Whilst drawing on these different theoretical approaches, the way in which we work together will be based on your needs as a unique individual, with your own personal story and challenges you wish to share with me.
I seek to build positive, empathetic relationships with my clients, so that the relationship between us becomes a supportive environment in order to promote your healing, growth and change.

Life can sometimes seem confusing and at times feel overwhelming.
Get the Most out of Life
You might have a sense that something just isn't quite right or a nagging and persistent feeling that somehow you are not quite yourself. This is normal. As human beings we consist of a complex range of emotions and can prioritise some emotions over others, as well as other peoples emotions over our own. How we experience each relationship contributes to who we are and therefore impacts us in different ways.
Developments and changes within our lives require us to respond and adapt accordingly. This is the same within our relationships; discovering and acknowledging that you can be a different person within different relationships but establishing which one feels most 'you', is the key to your psychological health and wellbeing.
Feel Safe and Supported
Successful counselling demonstrates how a secure environment can foster a healthy relationship between two people; me as the counsellor and you as the client. This aims to encourage your curiosity for self-growth. It can be extremely healthy and relieving to talk it out with someone who will listen with compassion and without judgement.
I believe that the main aim and benefit of counselling is to promote your well-being, empowering you to be able to lead a healthy, more helpful and fulfilling life.
